Taxi ends up in ditch

A taxi driver lost control of his vehicle at the intersection of Short Street and Klipbank Road, and the vehicle ended up in a ditch.

The driver claims to have been moving out of the way of another vehicle when he lost control and veered off the road.

There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time. The driver sustained slight injuries.

ER24 paramedics treated the driver at the scene and transported him to Ladysmith Provincial Hospital for further medical attention. Public Safety, ambulance services, police and towing services responded to the scene.
