Rugby players do team-building ‘old military style’

Clover Leaf Ladysmith Bulldogs rugby players took part in team-building exercises at the entrance to Platrand Lodge on Saturday afternoon.  Dubbed ‘Kamp Staal Draad’, the team-building kicked off at about 1.30pm and took approximately three hours to complete. The players had one break in which to re-hydrate before heading to the second, more challenging exercise.

There were sand bags and tyres to put the players through their paces, while the raging sun beat down and further depleted their energy levels. Nonetheless, the well-trained ‘manne’ held their heads high and performed admirably to finish the races that were set out for them. The team-building was done ‘old military style’!
