Lasec continues to help communities in need

On Sunday, April 30, Mr K Bihaspat and a team from Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec) made their way to St Chad’s, where they visited Grace Family Church for a Sunday morning celebration.

In keeping with their ongoing community projects, Lasec, together with the Royal Hotel, distributed hot, tasty, creamy mashed potato soup and mixed vegetables to community members in and around St Chad’s.

The soup was well received by the community and thoroughly enjoyed, as it was a cool day.

Pastor Petse (senior pastor of Grace Family Church), together with his congregation, presented musical items in recognition of the effort and sponsorship of food from Lasec and the Royal Hotel.

The team from Lasec would like to place on record that their community outreach projects are sustained solely by the goodwill and dedication of key individuals.

This particular programme would not have been possible without the unstinting generosity of the Royal Hotel, who have sponsored the meals, as well as the kitchen staff for preparation of the meals.

Special thanks must go to Pastor Petse, an individual always willing to sacrifice his time and assist with transportation during this particular outreach.

Anyone interested in joining in on these projects or would like to sponsor anything in aid of these projects may feel free to do so by contacting Mr Bihaspat on 036-633-0218 or call at the school to make an appointment on 036-633-3675.
