Police seek robbery suspects in Ladysmith

Ezakheni police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying and tracing two suspects who were involved in a robbery at Emaphemvane, Umhlumayo turn-off, in Ezakheni.

At about midday on October 22 last year, a 38-year-old man was driving a truck along the Helpmekaar Road when a vehicle passed him and stopped ahead at the Umhlumayo turn-off.

Four men climbed out of the vehicle and stood in the middle of the road, brandishing firearms.

The truck was stopped and the suspects got in.

They drove the truck to the Machibini area, where they robbed the driver and crew of cash and cell-phones.

Police need the community’s help in tracking down the two men depicted in the attached photos.
