Areas around the dumpsite left in a state, leaving residents in a messy situation

Homeowners who live near the dumpsite in Acaciavale are faced with a big problem, with rubbish and a rotten stench that makes living conditions unbearable.

Residents say that many people do not just go to the dumpsite and dump, but instead offload their rubbish outside the grounds in residential streets.

This illegal dumping makes life difficult for residents who live in the area.

They say that the smell is horrendous and the streets are covered with rubbish to the extent that people do not even want to travel to their homes.

Residents ask for the streets to be cleaned up so that they can live a normal life and get to their homes properly without having to drive through trash in the streets.

IFP councillor Abbas Warasally will be taking the matter further with the municipality to have the situation resolved.
