Power cut results in businesses shutting their doors in Illing Road

Businesses in the Illing Road area have been without electricity this morning (June 12).

Just after 8am, doors opened for business and around 8.20am, the power went off, forcing the owners of the businesses to close their doors again.

It is unknown what caused the power surge.

Alfred Duma Local Municipality technicians have been informed and are mobile to the sub-station.
