Returning victorious from cricket tournament

Young Samuel ‘Sam’ Sibande has returned victorious from a cricket tournament in Worcester recently. 10-year-old Samuel played in the Freedem under 12 team that won the Hannes Kruger tournament in Worcester 2016.

As an all-rounder, Samuel is rated highly by his coach Faroek Seedat from FNS Cricket Coaching, who believes that young cricketers should be exposed to different challenges. On the day of the awards presentation, the Freedem under 12 team was honoured to receive their trophy from Proteas player Stiaan van Zyl.

Samuel Sibande and Faroek Seedat had the rare opportunity to personally meet Stiaan van Zyl at the Worcester mayoral function for all teams that took part.

Samuel had a fantastic tour in Worcester!

Samuel and Zameer Sardiwalla have been selected to go on tour in New Delhi, India, in April 2017.
