Ladysmith Provincial Hospital scoops 2 awards

Ladysmith Provincial Hospital walked away with two awards at the MEC’s fourth annual Service Excellence Awards ceremony (MASEA), which was held at the Durban ICC recently. This prestigious event seeks to recognise performance excellence in the delivery of health services to the citizens of the province.

Health employees were recognised across numerous genres that make up the health system.

Ladysmith Provincial Hospital scooped two awards. Evette Cilliers and team received a certificate of Special Recognition for their project ‘Occupational Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Mental Care Users’, while Dr A Beharie and team were awarded with a certificate and trophy for third position in the category ‘Best Performing Paediatric Unit, Regional Hospitals’.

The Ladysmith Regional Hospital wishes to congratulate the recipients on their achievement.

Management also wishes to thank the recipients for their dedication and commitment to service delivery and encourages all its members of staff to strive for service excellence.
