Prayer for Ladysmith matrics to do well in their final examinations

The Alfred Duma Local Municipality Youth Development Office, along with Ward 10 and Ward 21 councillors Nkosinathi Mbatha and Makho Mbatha, hosted an exam prayer for the Grade 12s at Steadville Secondary School on Friday, October 20.

As the examinations have begun, the event was aimed at bringing students and teachers together to pray for good results in the matric final examinations.

School principal Mrs Shabalala thanked the councillors for initiating this programme in which the learners could engage in prayer before they begin their exams.

Cllr Nkosinathi Mbatha outlined the purpose of the programme, indicating that they know the area consists of a lot of young people who are currently in matric and need all forms of support to achieve good results and complete their exams successfully.

Cllr Makho Mbatha thanked everyone who was at the event and further encouraged the learners to study thoroughly and concentrate on the study material provided by the educators.

The learners received an exam stationery kit to be used during their exams.

On behalf of council, the matric class of 2017 is wished all the best during the examination period.
