Grandmother and grandchildren injured in crash on N11 outside Ladysmith

The scene of the crash

A grandmother and her two grandchildren were injured in a crash yesterday (November 11) on the N11.

They were travelling in a Toyota Corolla heading towards Newcastle when it is believed the lady driver lost control and veered off the road, crashing into a storm-water drain.

The injured grandmother and grandchildren were treated on scene by emergency personnel and then taken to hospital for further medical attention.

They sustained moderate injuries.
