Municipality says banning of taxis will not affect music festival taking place in town tomorrow #LadysmithTaxiBan

According to Alfred Duma Local Municipality’s Acting Manager: Communications and Intergovernmental Relations, Mr Siyabonga Maphalala, the banning of taxis will not affect the ‘Nyus’i-Volume’ music festival that will be taking place at the Kandahar Avenue sports ground tomorrow (Saturday, December 9).

According to the municipality, the banning of taxis will not affect this event, as it is open to the general public and people can make their own transport arrangements to attend the function.

Since the festival carries on for the whole day and night, people will have enough time to make arrangements to attend.
